Nice hotel

Unfortunately I can only assign one star. In the pouring rain we set out to eat a waffle and drink tea at the Spiekerooger Passion Hotel. We were happy when we could see through the window that some tables were still free. But far from it! We were already intercepted at the door and weren't even allowed to enter the anteroom. We have been informed that children under 10 years of age are not welcome at the direction of the management. Unfortunately we had two of these super spreaders with us and were therefore literally left out in the rain. You will never see us here again and I ask all people who find children important in our society to do the same - even after Corona!

The passion for the guest's well-being that you can feel! The island showed itself from the best side. And not just because the weather was fantastic, but because our hotel "Die Spiekerooger passion" made every single day something special. We got a double room at short notice. The reservation alone started with a very friendly phone call. Humorous and very friendly, the anticipation for the island was already great. This was not our first time (and not the last time;)) on this island, so we already knew that the Spiekeroog passion is very well located in the center of the village. From there you can not only start beautiful day tours, but also go shopping and let yourself drift through the beautiful village. Of course, beautiful tours require a good start to the day. 3 things are essential (in my opinion): the room, the breakfast and the service. The room was a good size - with a balcony facing the inner courtyard - and clean. It was cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis. The cleaning was always done after we went to breakfast. The breakfast itself was very rich in terms of bread rolls, cold cuts and muesli / quark. The buffet was characterized by high quality and a large selection of the individual stations (hearty and sweet). Meat, fish, cheese, sweet and vegetarian specialties, as well as various types of tea, coffee and cold drinks prepared us to enjoy on plates and cups. The eyes and the palate were pampered with regional products and visually attractive arrangements. From my point of view, the egg dishes were on point and rounded off the offer and the perfect breakfast outside on the terrace in the sun. The service was very courteous, friendly and professional. Despite Corona, we had the feeling that we could safely enjoy our food and that we were welcome here as guests. In short: a perfect start to the day - every day - :) The check-out was one day before departure, so that the departure day itself was very relaxed. Overall, a great stay in the Spiekerooger passion, in which the passion for guaranteeing the guests a great stay was really implemented. Many thanks to all service and kitchen! We look forward to the next visit;).

As best man, I chose this beautiful hotel for 3 days and I have to say I was not disappointed. Sparkling clean room with its own terrace. Everything is modern and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is the Börner. Even with the corona conditions, it is a pleasure and you are served excellently! I felt very comfortable and safe and am thinking about coming back! Greetings from Hanover

Guests with children will be turned away with flimsy corona justifications.

Part 2 Then the next time they communicate properly. Yes, these times demand a lot from us, but we were not sent away on the grounds that a reservation was necessary beforehand - I would have understood that, but because we have a child with us and that was not wanted. So I still find their behavior incomprehensible and discriminatory. Before you come up with the space argument as before - in all other restaurants / cafés etc. there were no problems either.

Very discriminatory towards children. I'm very surprised that children under the age of 10 are not welcome. Not even on the terrace .. I recommend the children who are our future and avoid this accommodation!

Everything is right here: the offer, the preparation, the taste and the ambience. The fireplace room is cozy and faces the garden. The highlight is the friendly greeting, the nice "care" and the friendliness. Clear recommendation.

Top restaurant. Very imaginative menu. Super tasty dishes. Very friendly professional service. In spite of the Corona limitation, everything was top as always. Highly recommended when it comes to ambience and quality !! Best house on Spiekeroog.

By accident we came into the Spiekerooger passion. In our originally booked hotel was on arrival a woman with two small children, unfortunately in the Spiekerooger passion the booked room could not prove (why, why, why I would not comment or rate). To help the desperate woman, we exchanged for two days our double room in the hotel Spiekeroog for the double room in the passion. The apartment was nice and tastefully decorated, the service was over friendly and the breakfast sensational.

Always beautiful. The friendliness and helpfulness in the hotel are particularly noteworthy, the breakfast is very good and we spend every year 2 holidays in the Spiekerooger passion.

A wonderful experience of this hotel. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the service team is great. We do not even find the hair in the soup. We will definitely be back. :)

I spent two wonderful winter stays on Spiekeroog, in the passion. Personally, very friendly, the rooms well-kept, the breakfast buffet a dream. I'm looking forward to the next winter, I'll be back!

We were in May 2018 for the first time on Spiekeroog and very enthusiastic about the island. We have already spent countless holidays in Norddeich and were now looking for an adequate accommodation. Unfortunately one was not willing to show us a room for a short time. The receptionist was very curt and not very friendly. Fortunately, there are other accommodations on the island where the guest is still king.
